Alan Davis is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at the University of Colorado-Denver. He is the Program Team Leader of the Research and Evaluation Methodology (REM) emphasis track.

Professor Davis's research interests include assessment of learning and policy issues associated with assessment; classroom learning, including social aspects of learning; philosophical and technical issues of research design.
